Issue with a Vanilla Gift Card

I had purchased a Vanilla Gift Card (MetaBank) at Walmart. The money is on the card, but the card is not working at any retail location or online.

I even went back to Walmart, and it did not work for them either. My daughter was at a theme park and was stranded with no money because the card keeps "declining." I have spoken to a representative who put in a ticket on the card and someone is supposed to call me back. What is frustrating is that there is no real customer service for the Vanilla Gift Card. The fact that I have to contact metaBank customer service is annoying.

The fact that you guys make it so hard for the customer when it comes to these gift card is very frustrating. It has been 6 days and I still cannot access the funds on that Vanilla Gift Card.

Pissed is an understatement, and now I have to wait 48 hours to talk to someone to escalate my situation. This review is not a positive one because my experience with your gift card has not been a positive one for me.

I told customer service I want to cancel the Scarlet card because I wanted to purchase a Prepaid card, not a dDebit card. They informed me the balance would have to be zero. I don't like this card or

I went to Walgreens to buy a Visa Prepaid card not a Debit card. I wanted the Visa Prepaid card only to pay for transportation to and from my doctors office that only cost $1.50 pet ride.

I let the cashier at Walgreens talk me into buying this Scarlet Debit card. I called your customer service several times to have the card canceled and the account closed. One of your Representatives hung the phone up in my face. I don't want this card.

Please do not send me another card because I will not use it. I will report you to the BBB is you don't cancel this account immediately because I don't intend to use it anymore.

Your representative told me the balance will have to go back to zero in order to cancel it, which is rediculous. People close bank accounts and Debit cards when they longer want them open anymore.

The card on which I had $100 provided to me for services, has never been usable, yet they certainly know how to debit the card religiously on the 1st of each month for no good reason.
There is absolutely NO customer service when you call the number on the back of the card...all they do is tell you what they can't do. I was sent a new card, since 1st one didn't work yet it is also unusable.

Terrible Company!
So-called customer service will not even provide the proper name of their company nor an address, she said the name of the company is "card member services"!

Such baloney. Clearly, any company who hides information about themselves is NOT a decent company.
AVOID this company!

My husband was seriously injured and got a settlement check from the insurance company and the company put it on his prepaid card , back in October and now it November half way through this month and he still can't get any money of his card , we have sent them everything they have asked for . I don't know what else to do ,

I am very dissatisfied…. How do a bank let someone make fraudulent charges and not once catch on. And now only thing they can say is they sorry. And go for a dispute. But again this is not 1 or 200$ we talking. We talking about $5500
